This week's MIDDAY SHOW was a wonderful escape from all the "heavy" subjects usually dealt with on www.peoplesinternetradio.com and was honouring CREATIVITY!
I was lucky to have three wonderful guests!
I met Sharon Shaz Shazzy recently, she is a HOOPLA expert and teaches this and other circus skills! I want to thank Shazzy for setting up this week's show!
Dansky Dantes Amsterdansky is a world class violin and viola player. Danksy comes from a family of extremely talented musicians. At the age of 4 he started to play piano and soon after the violin and viola. At 14 he started travelling the world playing solo violin in a multitude of orchestras. He studied music at Hochschuee fur Music Detmold where he graduated with Michael Mouller and Stewart Ealon.
He has recently moved to Ireland and joined local Galway bandCula Bula. Over the past few months he has started to work on his solo career, teaching and collaborating with other artists and bands such as The Gypsy Jazz Band, John Nelson, The Fairy Hooper, The Out Of Towners and most recently Natty Wailer.
This Thursday he will be playing at the gig of the summer - Natty Wailer and The Reggae Vibes in Monroe's Live, GALWAY CITY from 10pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/1621641101389261/
Natty will be featuring his new project from the old school, titled Destiny which Dansky will accompany on violin. Natty will be featuring an acoustic set of his originals and will be playing a selection of some of his favourite and nostalgic tunes in honour of his spiritual and musical mentor - sir Bob Marley. Destiny has brought Natty to Galway where he has had the opportunity to meet and work with a collective mix of local talent and artists such as musicians, circus artist and buskers.
