Blog: OUT OF THE BAG Wednesday 21-05-2014 @ 9pm Irish time, with guests Rev. Mark Christopher and Fiona Shakeela BurnsRead Now
My first guest on OUT OF THE BAG this week is Reverend Christopher
In his own words:
"4 years ago I had insulin dependent diabetes. After 10 years of taking so called professional advice and suffering, I was told my legs if not my feet will be amputated and I will go blind. I stopped everything and said to myself, nothing they say makes sense, the only thing I know is, I will lose my feet and my sight, if I don’t take control. I did just that! Through my Medication a way and started some basic physical activity. In 3 days my sugar levels went down to 6.5mmls-After 14 days my sugar level went down to 5.9 to 6.5. Before this it was 12 to 13mmls-which deadly. I told my consultant, she was kind enough to be truth full with me and said, “Keep doing what you are doing...there is nothing here for you...make sure you don’t find yourself again needing the NHS...I can’t say any more”-thank you Doctor for your honest.
Two years ago I wrote a book called; The Diseases of Affluence are Easy to Reverse as the Diseases of Poverty.
I contacted Jim Humble for the work is has done. To help his work and message I hold seminars for him and for the people that need the knowledge and the solutions.
Fiona Shakeela Burns is my second guest. Having recovered twice from ‘terminal’ cancer without using conventional medicine, Fiona feels it is important to share her story.
She believe that the body is capable of great miracles when it comes to healing and that health is our default setting – our job being to get out of the way as much as possible and let the body do it’s job.
She originally trained as a nurse – but knowing what she had already learned about healing due to her recovery from Leukaemia aged 11 using The Gerson Therapy, she felt drawn to study natural medicine, so she undertook a four-year full-time course in Herbal Medicine. More below:
Aged 41, she became seriously ill with cancer for the second Time; metastasised Cervical cancer which had gone to the ovaries and the brain. The Royal Marsden told her she was dying in January 2008. She didn’t feel ready to die, so instead she decided to totally go for recovering and made healing her body her entire focus. Despite having had a 9X6 cm tumour which engulfed both ovaries, a cervix tumour and between 5 and 7 brain tumours, against all odds, she was ecstatic to be tumour- free within 10 months.
In order to heal herself, she radically changed her diet, her attitude, her beliefs and listened to what her body was asking for. She used herbs, EFT, PSYCH-K, meditation, prayer, vegetable juicing and coffee enemas.
Fiona also spent 3 weeks in a German clinic where she had hyperthermia, vitamin C intravenously, ozone therapy and insulin-potentiated chemotherapy. Fiona says “I felt that I was going to recover, although at times I did wonder if I was being over-optimistic!”
Now it is her passion to share what she has learned with others!
Her website is: www.natureworx.com You can email her on: firstname.lastname@example.org
Fiona is organizing the Back 2 Health Conference www.back2healthevents.com which is an Integrative Cancer Healthcare Event which will be in Exeter Castle 6th- 8th June.
We have 22 speakers – including Dr Brian Clement from Hippocrates health institute, Dr Rosy Daniel – Integrative health expert in Bath, professor Vogl from Frankfurt University talking about cutting-edge chemotherapy techniques which enable much less chemotherapy to be used, Patricia Peat, oncology nurse from Cancer Options, Gosia Gorna from Breast Cancer Haven, Martin Powell who researches medicinal mushrooms for use in cancer and more - Also we have 9 people who have recovered from cancer sharing their stories of recovery.
The amount of information available online can be over-whelming and Fiona wanted to provide an opportunity for people to listen to talks and attend workshops that would support people in their health and well-being. The first conference was in Bristol in April 2013 and was completely sold out – so book now if you do want to come along!
